When I came home last night, Vikings was just finishing. I was telling my sister: “that Ragnar guy is hot. Maybe it’s the haircut or the beard. I like it. There are some familiar characters in this thing too.” (I’m pretty sure I have the oldest and crappiest television on island, but it still works so I can’t complain. It’s a wonder how I can recognize anything with the noisy picture.)

So I head off to imdb.com and there it is, the main character is portrayed by the darling Australian model/actor Travis Fimmel, who I absolutely adore. He loves to pop up in the most random places. Last time I saw him he was a cowboy in some Hallmark-esque romantic drama starring Dean Caine. I couldn’t get through the first half hour.

Donal Logue also makes appearances later on, as well as some other notable actors such as Gabriel Byrne. :D. But yeah, Travis Fimmel, in a role that he’s pulling off nicely. 

Thank you History Channel for keeping me engaged (although I made a horrible American Pickers joke at your expense….).

If you can, check out Vikings. It’s pretty good so far, and I like to think it’ll keep going that way.
